SONGWRITING & MINDFULNESS LESSONS
Have you ever wanted to learn an instrument, sing, explore music as a medium for expression, or write your own songs?
I have been a passionate songwriter for many years - always experimenting with new ways to write and spark the creative process. After graduating from Bard College with a B.A. in Music, where I studied a broad scope of genres and musical practices, I moved to Brooklyn, NY and began giving private music & songwriting lessons. With an appreciation for the power of mindfulness, I developed a unique curriculum that puts music and wellbeing in conversation with one another. I’ve found that incorporating elements of mindfulness into music lessons allows for the student to relax, shed anxieties & limiting beliefs, and step into their full potential as a musician and songwriter.
I also teach voice lessons without the songwriting component if desired and can help prepare students for auditions and vocal-focused performances.
In person lessons can be in Brooklyn (NY), Hunterdon County (NJ), or Bucks County (PA).

PERSONALIZED LESSONS for all ages
I will guide you in exploring various meditative practices and songwriting prompts that you can incorporate into your creative routine. You will expand your understanding of what it means to be a songwriter and learn how to use your new creative practices as tools to help navigate your emotional world.
Your lessons can be done on any instrument you choose and will always be catered to your specific interests and aspirations.
PRICING
I wholeheartedly believe in the value that Songwriting & Mindfulness Lessons have to offer and it's really important to me that they are accessible for all who wish to experience them. In order to do that, I have come up with a fair payment system. Here you will find a tiered system of payment options based on household income. I am a teaching artist and am so grateful to be able to support myself through my art. This system is a way for everyone to have the opportunity to partake in the sessions. By paying more if you fall into a higher financial tier, you are supporting those who can't afford the same opportunities. Together, we can give access to holistic music education for all!
